Happy New Year!

I know it’s been about 3 months since my last post and I apologize for the hiatus. I’ve been tied up with work and needed to find my focus. But I am BACK! Better than ever, not to mention super excited about what the new year has to offer. I plan that 2017 will be astounding, filled with new experiences and fashion filled adventures that I can share with you all.

For NYE I had planned to spend it out and about in Manhattan with friends. It was also my childhood friend’s birthday so that was even more reason to celebrate. Her and I had been talking about her birthday celebration for over a month, from how the night would go to what we would wear. All I knew was giving looks were KEY.

This season for me is all about textures, so last minute (as always – which I am working on) I decided to go with a soft concept. I paired a suede blush pink bodysuit by Naked Wardrobe with a blush pink suede midi skirt from Windsor Store. To pull it altogether I accented a white fur from the House of CB to give it that oomph. Sometimes it’s about mixing textures to pull it altogether, & the right colors will help enhance that.

I absolutely loved this outfit and felt I brought in the New Year refreshed and glowing. Given endless compliments, leaving me blushing. Let me know what were some ideas you guys came up with for the New Year!
